We visit the local SPCA on an ongoing basis and select dogs that are scheduled for euthanasia, but would make a wonderful pet. All of our dogs are current on their shots and have been neutered.

Adoption fees are $150 - 200, which pays for spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations. We accept cash and checks only.

Toby is a 1 year old Boxer mix. He is good with other dogs and kids. He's a happy-go-lucky boy until the camera is pointing his way! Then he thinks that if he doesn't look at it ... then it doesn't exist!

Tank is a 6 year old black lab. He is great with other dogs and kids. He LOVES toys, especially balls.

River is a 2 1/2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He is great with other dogs and kids, and when we gave him a toy, he thought he had a wonderful prize! River is the one of nicest Chessies we have ever rescued. He is very much looking to bond with people.

Marley is an 11 month old German Shepherd. He is good with other dogs and kids. He loves the car and going for walks. Marley's owners had to give him up due to their daughter having allergies.
Marley is a great young boy with alot of potential, but needs to be socialized to give him the self-confidence he needs. Marley loves to play fetch!

Bessie
Bessie is 1 year old. She's a lap cat, very loving and playful.

Kat
Kat is a 1 1/2 year old terrier/chocolate lab mix. She is good with other dogs.
Kat is a bit timid, so a home with someone who can give her confidence would suit her best. She loves other dogs and other dogs give her the confidence she needs.
Kat is from the Mississippi shelter that was licensed for 60 dogs, and when raided had 400 dogs.
Update:
Kat has been in a foster home with another dog and has blossomed. She is completely housebroken and has gained SO much confidence. She still draws alot of confidence from other dogs, so we are looking for a home with another dog.
