We visit the local SPCA on an ongoing basis and select dogs that are scheduled for euthanasia, but would make a wonderful pet. All of our dogs are current on their shots and have been neutered.

Prince was attacked by another dog prior to coming to us. He is healing well, goes on walks with 12 dogs every morning at our rescue, and has shown absolutely no aggression towards other dogs.
He is gentle, loving, and one of the first to come greet you, sits at your feet, and looks at you with adoring eyes. Loves playing with the other dogs, and great with kids.
Lexie
Lexie is a 1 year old boxer/shepherd mix. She loves to go in the car, and is an excellent passenger. She loves toys, and especially loves to play ball.
Good with other dogs, kids, and cats. Housebroken.
Lexie is looking for an active family!
Bear
Bear is a two year old boxer/shepherd mix whose owners did not have the time for him. He is housebroken, gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids.
Having lived in a family with 2 young children, Bear is desperately missing having a family. Bear is an easy fit with any family and is far more handsome than his pictures show - his personality will win you over.
Danny Boy
1 y/o Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix. Danny Boy has had a tough start to life, but loves people! He needs some guidance in the form of obedience training.
Mary
Mary is a 1 year old lab mix. Great personality, loyal, and considers herself a lapdog. Good with other dogs, loves kids.
Annabelle
Annabelle is a 6 year old shepherd mix. She is SO happy to be out of the shelter and acts like a much younger dog! Considers herself a lapdog, and wants to prove her loyalty. Good with other dogs and kids.
Annabelle is an easy dog, very much looking for someone to care for.
Juniper
Juniper is a female shepherd mix on the small side, just over 40 lbs. She is still a pup, just under a year. Very smart, loves kids and other dogs, well started on housetraining. A great girl!
Friday
Friday is a sweet but scared little black mixed breed. She would be best in a quiet home where she gets lots of love and attention. When she first meets you, she cries and wiggles and waggles and rolls on her back but is hesitant to come up- when she does, she wants you to rub her belly. About a year old and 30 lbs. Spayed, good with kids and other dogs but again, prefers a quiet home.
Update:
Friday is really changing! While she is still a bit scared of children, she loves adults and will come running to greet you with a HUGE smile. She is very intuitive, and will be a wonderful friend to some very lucky person. She really is a very special girl with a huge personality and soul.
Cali
Cali is a medium/small Jindo mix, about 35 lbs.
Very sweet girl but high energy, with a super cool
tri-color left eye.
Good with kids and other dogs, but not cats or horses.
Housebroken. Would make a great agility dog!
Spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg. About 2 yrs old.

Ben
Gentle Ben is an 11 month old purebred male shepherd. Impeccable temperament, great with everyone, loyal, listens well, easy going. Neutered and UTD on everything.
Brooke
Brooke and Mary are lab mix sisters who were turned into the SPCA.
They are sweet dogs, good with kids and other dogs, housetrained, and just over a year old. Available together or separately.
Dudley
Dudley is a handsome purebred black lab male. He is very sweet but a little hand-shy-- someone may have hit him in the past. He is coming around with kindness and attention, and will make someone a great dog. Good with kids and other pets but probably a quiet house with older kids would be best until he gets his confidence back. Seems to be housetrained too!
Ruby
Ruby is a sweet smart lab/shepherd mix female, about a year old. She was brought to the SPCA bc her owners did not feel they were home enough to have a dog. She is housetrained, loves attention, and gets along well with other dogs. Good with kids too!
Sammy
Sammy is a friendly Golden/Australian Shepherd mix male with one blue eye. He is good natured and friendly and very very smart. Neutered, gets along well with everyone, about a year old.
Sammy LOVES balls, and will catch a ball in his mouth over and over - as long as you will toss it to him.
