Meet our animals for adoption!
Come join us for a rare opportunity to run a 5K
or walk your dog through some of Maryland’s
most beautiful protected land, while raising
money to help our rescued dogs and horses!
Our 5K starts the day, with runners following
the roads and paths of the serene countryside,
home to bald eagles and other wildlife. Shortly
afterwards, our fun dog walk begins, with trivia
questions along the way. Runners and walkers
will return to music, fun, canine games, and
prizes. A food vendor will be on site. Meet our
rescued cats and dogs for adoption. Have fun
with family and friends and enjoy a silent
auction- all for a GREAT cause.
The first 125 runners and walkers get a free Tshirt,
and all the doggie games are free.
May Day 5K - timed, awards to top male
and female in each age group category.

Collect
pledges from family and friends to help our
rescued animals- everyone collecting pledges
of $50 or more runs or walks for FREE!
Day of event registration starts at 8:30 AM
$20 per person /$10 Kids Ages 6-10
• All dogs must be current on vaccinations, wear ID,
and be on a leash at all times
•All dogs must be kept under control at all times. We
reserve the right to turn away any animals that are a
threat to other participants.
• Walkers wear comfortable shoes and clean up after
your dog
Scavenger Hunt Horse Ride
Sunday May 2nd
10:00 AM- 2:00 PM
A unique opportunity to ride through some of Maryland’s
most beautiful protected private land, looking for clues
along the way. Bring family and friends-- have fun and
help our rescue horses! Join us after the ride for hot dogs
and drinks and our used tack sale!
The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $10,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes — a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations.
